Relationship violence and sexual assault are huge problems in our society (Please note both women and men are victims of these crimes). Besides painting, graphic design, and animals, bringing awareness to these issues is one of my passions in life.
I was asked by the Women's Center at Florida International University to design the flyer for their upcoming event "Take Back the Night." A movement that started in Brussels, Belgium and has spread all over the world, especially college campuses. Both women and men walk to "reclaim the night" when

I am really pleased with the typography on this one. I also designed the one for last year's but back then they were going for a more "diverse," gender-inclusive idea.
